The objective remains to ensure that its graduate is well trained in engineering principles to meet and match the real-world requirements. The college offers programs in electrical, chemical, architectural and computer engineering.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering curriculum is designed to comply with local education framework and benchmarked with international institutions. It includes 29 credits in basic sciences and mathematics, 103 credits engineering sciences and engineering design and communications skills, and 3 credits of humanities and social sciences excluding language and technical writing courses. Lab hands-on experience and emphasis on practical aspects are important elements that are integrated throughout the curriculum. program, a student must have:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A <strong>General Education Certificate<\/strong> or its equivalent and<\/li>\n<li>Passed the Foundation Program (FP) from DU or any other Higher Education Institute (HEI) recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation (MoHERI) OR Be exempted from FP English, Mathematics and Information Technology (IT) courses based on placement tests conducted by FP.<\/li>\n<li>Based on the results of the English, Mathematics, and IT placement tests, students who need remedial work based on placement test results, will join the FP, where three levels of English and two levels of Mathematics courses, as well as IT courses, have to be successfully completed with a minimum grade of 50 to proceed to the first year
