The Diploma in Interior Architecture Engineering (DINTA) program was established in 2005 to address the growing demand for technically skilled professionals and to equip students with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in interior architecture engineering fields. The program also serves the community by providing accessible, high-quality technical education to students from diverse regions within Dhofar University.<\/div>\n
The Diploma in Interior Architecture Engineering provides a strong foundation in the basic principles of interior construction, building materials, drafting, and spatial organization. The curriculum focuses on core areas such as construction drawings, lighting and acoustics basics, material selection, and computer-aided design (CAD), combining theoretical understanding with hands-on training through laboratories and practical sessions.<\/div>\n
The program places a strong emphasis on skill development and employability. Students gain practical exposure through studio work and industry-oriented training, enabling them to develop the technical competencies required in real-world interior design and construction environments.<\/div>\n
Aligned with industry needs, the diploma prepares graduates for entry-level positions in sectors such as interior drafting, material supply coordination, residential design assistance, and technical support for fit-out projects. For admission to the program, a student must have:<\/p>\n

  1. A General Education Diploma (or its equivalent), and<\/li>\n
  2. Passed the Foundation Program (FP) at Dhofar University (DU) or any other Higher Education Institution (HEI) recognized by the Ministry of Education.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
